del.icio.us goes private
Finally, del.icio.us has a function for that allows to recommend links to other users. You may use this function of course to store a kind of private bookmarks.
priv.at is a project to allow users to save bookmarks anonymously on del.icio.us – the social bookmarking service.
Users can create a unique bookmarklet for themselves, which they then trigger to post the bookmark to their account.
This hack takes advantage of del.icio.us’ for: tag feature, which allows users to bookmark urls for their friends invisibly.
note: bookmarks are still visible that someone has bookmarked them, just not who.
priv.at – SWiK comes with a bookmarklet that alternatively can be used to keep recommending links to a determined user (maybe the beginning of del.icio.us spamming). And we have a blummy bookmarklet for it already.

It allows you to create instant searchable bookmarks with a single click into a private archive. Context around the link, page or image is automatically saved. You can then post bookmarks to del.icio.us or other social bookmarking sites or use other tools to see the Google cache, lookup the title on Amazon, etc.
There is a flash demo of how to bookmark and a demo archive to see how you can use your bookmarks—both are on the main page.
Its pretty cool, but yes I’m a little biased since I wrote it. Check it out if you get a chance.
